This Colin Barollet, Brouilly is a 2019 vintage, 100% Gamay the appellation stretches around Mont Brouilly in Beaujolais and covers 6 communes (Cercié, Saint-Lager, Charentay, Odenas, Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne and Quincié). This is the largest and most southerly of the 10 Crus of Beaujolais.
Soil Four soil types make up this land: to the West a pink soil on a granite base / to the East, a darker gravelly soil on a rock less acidic / to the South, a clay-limestone and siliceous soil / in certain places the soil is full of weathered rock fragments.
